Panther Pride

We are super proud of Spencer, and of how well he did in his first year of Middle School this past year. At the end of the third quarter, we received a letter from the school inviting us to attend a special award's ceremony, saying that Spencer was going to be receiving a Panther Pride award that day. We'd never heard of this award before, but soon learned that the teachers in each grade level team each select 1 student that they feel exemplified outstanding qualities in the classroom, not only academically but also socially as well. So there were four students from the 6th grade chosen for this quarter (so a total of 16 students for the entire year) and our Spencer was one of them! Here is what they said about Spencer as he received his award:

“Spencer has always been a great student in all of his classes and takes his academics seriously and never hesitates to ask a question or ask for coaching when needed or even try to help a student in class. His care and concern for his academics are just as important as how much he cares for others. His display and care for things that are important such as academics and people are great qualities to possess. We have enjoyed having Spencer on our team and we know he will do great things in the future.”

Way to go Spencer!!
