Puerto Rico - Day 5

Day 5 was our big outing day!  We were up with alarm clocks and on the ferry to Culebra Island by 8am.  Thankfully I did not get sick on the ferry, thanks to lots of Dramamine.  But it did help me to have an awesome nap in the shade of a palm tree on this incredible beach - Flamenco Beach.  Rumor has it that this beach is one of the top 10 beaches in the world, and it was certainly gorgeous.  White, fine sand, incredibly blue water, and peaceful surroundings made for a very enjoyable morning.  After a few hours, we boarded a bus for the opposite side of the tiny island.  Here we suited up and kayaked out to a reef in a nature preserve.  We dropped anchor from our kayaks, and snorkeled for a good couple of hours.  It was so beautiful, and incredible to be able to spot sea turtles and sting rays right and left.  Bryan even got the chance to swim through an underwater cave, which he thought was the coolest thing ever.  We cleaned up afterward, and took the ferry back.  We stopped off at El Hefe's Burger Shack on our way back to our rooms, and dined on amazing gourmet burgers.  We then topped the day off with cookies and ice cream!  This had to be the coolest day of the trip.
