Just as I'd hoped, I started the trip off with a bubble bath on the balcony the next morning. Ahhh, so glorious. After breakfast, we did a little grocery shopping for the rest of the week. After getting the food unpacked and settled, we hit the road for some good Puerto Rican weekend fun. We drove south for an hour or so until we reached the mountainous area of Guavate. Families pack this stretch of street each weekend for BBQ and live music and dancing, so we decided to join them. Well, not the dancing. But we did eat! We dined on pork and chicken, all cooked over coals. We did a little shopping, watched the dancing, and then decided to head back. We arrived back at the resort as the sun was setting, and we walked down to the beach once again. So beautiful! We played cards, ate cookies, and watched SNL until we were ready to hit the sack. Another great day!
