Teeth!!

We had a big week of teeth right before our annual trip to Idaho this summer.  Ella had been wiggling a very loose front tooth for weeks, until it was so loose and out of place that it hung in front of the rest and had moved forward so much that it looked like there was already a tooth missing.  We lovingly nicknamed that tooth Snaggledy, and we awaiting the day that it would come out.  As loose as it was, though, it was still hanging on by a decent sized root on one side, making it quite difficult to pull.  She was willing to let me try, and I was trying with all my might, but it was still a tricky one to get out.  Finally it came out!!  No more Snaggledy, and one giant, permanent tooth is peeking through.  Next on to Spencer, and some before and after pictures of both the kids.  Spencer is now the proud owner of shiny new braces!  He had a very sore first couple of days, but since then he's been doing great.  And if I do say so myself, he is looking as cute as can be in those braces!  If you haven't seen Spencer in a while, you will hardly recognize him.  He's now officially as tall as me, has gained 10 pounds over the summer, and with these new braces he is looking just plain OLD!  I guess it happens, but still...  It's hard to accept that my kids are getting so giant!!
