It's Ella's turn! These pictures show just a few of the funny things and events that Ella has been up to over the Spring. She and Ruby invent some of the craziest games, such as in the strange hanger picture below. Funny! The next pictures are of Ella singing in her cute 3rd grade music performance. Those pictures of her and her friend Audrey are just too darling! Such good little friends. Ella had some fun times on school field trips and at Field Day, and I'm so glad that she still loves me to come with her to these things. She had another fun season of soccer, and she looked darling dressing up for 3rd grade Egyptian Day. She finished up a great year at school with her beloved teacher Mrs. Loomis (the picture of the two of them is currently hanging in her room!), and she started the summer off with a bang - and two pet tadpoles (they died the next day) and her first slumber party. She was so excited, and she looked so big and grown up headed in there. Unfortunately the thunderstorm that night got the girls all scared, and Ella felt too homesick to stay the night. If only I wouldn't have silenced my cell phone before bed! I might have heard the 5 phone calls, and would not have been woken up by the sound of my doorbell at midnight, with a very sad little girl and a very tired mom. Oops!!
