Ella Rose is eight!! She is a beautiful 2nd grader, and is a joy to have in our family. Ella loves to color, play with Ruby, Facetime her cousin Aubrey, and invite her friends from school over to play on Friday afternoons. She loves to play soccer and dance, and she is learning to play the piano. She is still pretty shy and quiet in new situations, but once you get to know her she has quite the personality! Ella is not nearly as sensitive as she used to be, but she is still a girl...so we see lots of tears, screaming, and dramatics on occasion! She wakes up to her alarm promptly at 6:20 every morning, gets herself dressed, makes her bed, helps Ruby make her bed, and then arrives in the kitchen for breakfast by 6:30. She loves the little nickname I've made up for her - "The Upstairs Mom" - and she takes that job quite seriously. What would we do without our Ella?? Happy Birthday, Peanut!!
