Tyler has turned the ripe old age of 12. He's been waiting a long time for this day to come! He's finally out of Primary, and on to Young Mens. Tyler was lucky enough to have his birthday on a weekend, so he could have a more extensive day of birthday meals. For breakfast he chose Creme Brulee Overnight French Toast, and for dinner he went with steak, baked potatoes, artichokes, homemade root beer, and strawberry shortcake. His dinner took up two plates! Tyler asked for a new RipStik for his birthday, and he also got a new duffel bag to take to football practice. He was very happy with them! He was also happy with the gift card and birthday money that he got, and he's already conspiring to get something awesome with them. Ruby made him a cute homemade book which said, "You can never be better," among other darling things ("I love the way you smile, ..."). We all had a great day with Tyler, and we love having that kid in our family. He's the third parent, always chomping at the bit to get places way too early, and generally just trying to run the show around here. He's cuddly and loving, laughs at himself, and is just the best kid. Happy Birthday Ty!!
