Swimming and Bathtime

Swimming at grandma's house is always such a highlight of our trip, along with the accompanying warm up in the hot tub. Spencer and Tyler had a great time chicken fighting and playing "Chieftain" on the diving board with their cousins, Callie and Colbie. Ella and Ruby jumped and rode on floats and just had a great time swimming as well. Even though it was 95 degrees outside, there's nothing quite like a soak in the hot tub after swimming...and as you can see, there is also not a limit on number of people that can fit in a hot tub! Once we can drag the kids out of the hot tub, it's on to one last tub - the bathtub! We get the little kids all scrubbed down and cleaned off, after a fun day of playing, and then make some "girl sandwiches" and "three-year-old sandwiches" in the giant towels. Hair combing (and even the occasional nail painting) then follows. I love those white buns!!
