Ella just finished her year-end dance recital, and she did a wonderful job. She looked beautiful, and was just darling up there on that stage dancing. This year she did a Jazz dance, which was set to a medley of 50's songs. Just like last year she taught the entire dance to Ruby, and the two of them have been dancing and posing for weeks now. This year was extra special for Ella because we were having our Family Reunion that weekend, so her Grandma Carlson, Great Grandma Carlson, and cousin Mya all drove down to see the recital. They loved to see Ella all dressed up, and Ella was so happy to have so many fans in the audience. The highlight, of course was getting the bouquet of flowers from dad. What a cute tradition...I'm a big fan. Way to go little Ella!!
(Hats off to the boys for leaving the lake, their cousins, and the Family Reunion fun to drive an hour to watch Ella's dance. I'm not saying there weren't tears, but they came and were great about cheering her on.)
