I was really a nice mom this year. It all started with the beginning of Christmas break for the kids, and somehow I ended up telling all of these friends of Ella's that we'd "have to have them over to play one day over the break." Then of course it dawned on me that no way were we going to have time for 10 playdates for Ella alone over the break! So I decided to score double points and not only invite all these girls over, but we'd call it a party and make gingerbread houses. It turned out to be quite fun, and not really difficult at all. And the girls just loved it - especially Ella! We may just have to do this one again next year...
