Next came the 5th grade graduation. It was quite a ceremony. Spencer received 4 certificates in his envelope - 1 for completing 5th grade, one for getting all A's and B's, one for getting all "E's" for conduct, and one for having perfect attendance. Way to go Machine! He was so excited and proud...it was really cute.

School's Out!
The last week of school is always such a whirlwind, and this year was no exception. In no particular order, here are a few of the happenings during the last week of school for Spencer and Tyler.

First, the second grade held a musical performance where Tyler's class performed a "Pizza Fractions" song. Tyler was so cute up there, and his was the only distinct voice that we could hear from where we sat. Way to belt it out, Ty! On the last day of school Tyler's class had their class party, with cookies and cupcakes (care of the party planner...me) and made cute little pillowcases to take home. I love the picture of Tyler and Danny, his Vice President during his stint as Class President. Little buddies.

Next came the most gigantic class party I have ever laid eyes on - the 5th grade pool party. Wow...this party put my 6th grade field trip to Lagoon to shame! It was all done with a "Survivor" theme, complete with color coordinated class T-shirts, and there were no details left out. Swimming all day, the entire grade, with a DJ, pizza, unlimited snacks and drinks, games, decorations, signs all along the walk to the pool saying "Congrats," with the signs on the return walk welcoming them to the middle school! It was really something, I tell you.

Way to go boys! Seriously, I want to go to your school.......quite the bash! I wonder who their room mom was?? :)
That sounds like one rockin' party! Perfect attendance? Holy Moly! I just can't even imagine it. You know my kids get the nasty grams for too many absences? I think that's a real accomplishment for Spencer and you. Way to go!!
Is Spencer on to Jr High now? And if so. . .how can that be??
